Iron-on patches are a practical and decorative accessory that can instantly liven up your clothing or textiles. To achieve perfect results, it\u2019s important to apply the iron-on patch correctly. In this article, we\u2019ll explain how to do it step by step. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Surface Preparation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

The first step is to thoroughly prepare the surface. Make sure that the iron-on transfer and the fabric you\u2019ll be applying it to are clean and dry. Remove any dirt, fabric scraps, or lint to ensure a perfect bond. <\/p>\n\n

Setting the temperature of the heat press (iron) correctly is crucial. We recommend setting the temperature between 150 and 170 \u00b0C<\/strong>. Tip: If necessary, you can carefully turn the fabric inside out and repeat the ironing process on the reverse side for 5 to 10 seconds.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n

Check to make sure all the edges and corners are well glued, and iron them if necessary.<\/p>\n\n

Cooling and Washing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

After ironing, let the iron-on patch cool<\/strong> completely \u2014<\/strong> at least<\/strong> 30 minutes<\/strong> without touching it. This will ensure that the iron-on patch adheres perfectly. <\/p>\n\n

You can wash <\/strong> fabric with iron-on patches ( <\/strong>max. 40 \u00b0C) only after<\/strong> 24 hours<\/strong>, once the patches have completely hardened.<\/p>\n\n
